Immersive Flume

The Immersive Flume ride is a world-first innovation by Interlink in collaboration with Simworx. Combining a classic family favourite with a breath-taking 3DOF simulator to create a one of a kind water ride. This multifaceted attraction incorporates both the visual and decorative aspects, the thrill of a drop, as well as an immersive tunnel and a vertical lift.

Beginning at the embarkation zone, guests board the 16-seater boats in the station and are launched along the channel where they float through elaborate theming to set the scene before approaching the immersive tunnel section.

The boat is then locked onto a dynamic 3DOF motion simulator surrounded by a dome screen. Guests experience synchronised movement with the on-screen action combined with special effects and 3D audio-visual.

At the finale of the film, the boat is released and passes through doors in the screen and along the rest of the channel before reaching the vertical lift where it is taken up to the top and then launched down the chute creating that final epic splash before returning to the station.
